The 2018 Georgia CareerExpo is hosting a state-wide hiring fair on March 22nd – 23rd in partnership with the GA Dept. of Economic Development – High Demand Career Initiative Construction Task Force, GADOE, Technical College System of Georgia, SkillsUSA, CEFGA’s K12 Pipeline, and multiple trade associations.

One of the primary challenges in building our workforce pipeline is job-site mobility. CEFGA will use the information provided to match local talent out of CEFGA’s K12 Pipeline and Technical College System of GA to your local projects.

The GA CareerExpo and SkillsUSA state competitions will be a gathering of hundreds of the top young skilled trade talent in the state competing in over 20 construction related contests. They will be joined by thousands of their peers enrolled in construction classes around the state.

CEFGA would like to provide employers the opportunity to interview and hire students/graduates on-site. Many will be 18+ and ready for full-time work. Others will be 16-17 and looking for summer work and Work Based Learning opportunities when they return to school. CEFGA can train your HR personnel on how to hire these students legally and even receive a Workers’ Comp incentive to do so. If your company would like to participate, please fill out the information.
