Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 97th birthday\, we celebrate a milestone that embodies his vision and fulfills Mayor Maynard Jackson’s transformative legacy. \nFor the first time in Atlanta’s history\, two Black-owned general contractors\, H.J. Russell & Company and FS 360\, LLC\, have been awarded a public-sector project of as the joint venture prime team. \nThis is what progress looks like. This is the legacy Mayor Jackson built. This is Dr. King’s dream realized. \nThe Project: Building on Sacred Ground \nThe $25 million John A. White Golf Course & Senior Activity Center transformation will create a state-of-the-art\, 29\,000-square-foot multipurpose facility serving Southwest Atlanta\, including: \n\nAtlanta’s first dedicated senior activity center with wellness programs and community spaces\nModernized golf center with pro shop\, simulators\, and full-service restaurant\nConference and event spaces for the broader Southwest Atlanta community\nEnhanced facilities for First Tee’s youth character development programs\n\nThis watershed moment brings together: \n\nThe Russell-FS 360 joint venture leadership team\nSubcontractors and suppliers across all trades\nNAMC of Greater Atlanta members\nIndustry partners and community stakeholders\n\nOpportunities Available Across All Trades: \n\nElectrical\nPlumbing & HVAC\nConcrete & Steel\nLandscaping\nAnd dozens more\n\nThis project represents millions in contracting opportunities for qualified firms ready to be part of Atlanta construction history.  Join us!  \nRegistration is required.
